Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) Solution
In 2010, when the PPACA was first signed into law, El Dorado realized the serious implications Obamacare would have for the security industry and other industries that use a predominantly low wage workforce. Because of this, El Dorado began working with a number of Third Party Administrators to help design an affordable plan that met all of the requirements of PPACA. Our objectives listed based on priority are as follows:
- Complete and total compliance with all aspects of PPACA so that employers avoid any possible fines or penalties imposed by the Act.
- Achieving compliance at the lowest possible cost to the employer
- Any and all employee benefits provided by the plan should be delivered with best-in-class to the participant and reflect positively on the employer
