Robert L. “Bob” Ring, Jr.
Bob founded El Dorado Insurance in Houston, Texas in 1968. To this day, Bob remains at the helm and continues to focus on establishing valuable partnerships with insurance carriers as well as strengthening El Dorado by adding the very best insurance experts working in the field today.
Josh Ring, CIC
Josh graduated from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business with academic honors. He currently holds the title of Vice President with the firm and is responsible for managing El Dorado’s ongoing customer relations. Additionally, he oversees the sales department at El Dorado and coordinates the development of new insurance products & programs for El Dorado’s focus industries. Josh earned his Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2011.
After attending the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, Andy came to work for the family business in 2001. Andy is currently the office manager at El Dorado, however his role in the company allows him to fill a variety of company needs ranging from marketing to management. Andy is willing to fill in anywhere the business needs as It is his goal to upload the standards at El Dorado and ensure every customer is treated with the highest quality service possible.
Tommy started his insurance career in 1976, and soon after became interested in insurance products unique to the security industry. Tommy persevered when the industry ran into trouble in 1986, as insurance was extremely hard to find with only a handful of carriers willing to offer affordable pricing, making it challenging to find a place for security professionals. Nearly 30 years later he is still working with security professionals on their General Liability and Workers Compensation insurance.
Tina has been in the insurance industry since 1991 and specifically with El Dorado since 2003. She has experience in a variety of coverages including Commercial Lines, Life and Health/Disability, and Personal Lines. Tina has worked in many different roles within the insurance industry ranging from Customer Service Representative, Department Manager, Office Manager and is currently a part of El Dorado’s sales team. She additionally attends national conferences, contributes articles, and speaks at chapter meetings, training classes and conferences. Her willingness to share her knowledge and experience with her co-workers and clients has proven her an asset to our team.
Jesse is a graduate of Olivet College with a degree in Insurance and Risk Management. He has nearly 5 years of experience as an underwriter with several security specialist insurance companies. Jesse is currently representing El Dorado by serving the insurance needs of security industry clients in the Midwest and Eastern United States.
