Company Background

In 1968, El Dorado Insurance Agency, Inc. was established by Robert L. “Bob” Ring, Jr. in Houston, Texas. Over the years, we continued to grow and expand our product offerings and services exclusively to security officer companies, burglar/fire alarm companies and private investigation agencies. Today, our service area encompasses 40 states, and we have established a second office in Bakersfield, California, to provide additional support and accessibility to the West Coast market. In addition to these two offices we have an insurance specialist located in Miami, Florida to provide support and service to the East Coast market.

As to our future, there has been and will continue to be a heightened need for security services. This translates into growth for El Dorado and growth for our customers as well. We will meet this growth by continuing to listen to our customers changing needs, building the right alliances to offer additional customized programs, providing the most competitive rates and adding products and services.
